Did you see a man in his underwear there, no so why the fuck do women think they can put on what they want and if someone say something about it. *how dare you* you are a women. Men don't hate women. Women are better than men so don't put something that make you look like an animal who doesn't care about who see their body.

"Sad sad excuse of a man in my opinion" your opinion is built up by a western culture where these things ok, but Egyptian culture is different but celebrities are influenced by western culture so that man you call a sad sad excuse of a man is giving them punishment so that the public will know that is wrong and you will be punished for it at the same time protect the future of children to not do these acts. No one want their kids to grow up looking like sluts and prostitutes or men hounding after celebrities nudes, which apparently common in the western culture in my opinion is a toxic culture.

I don't live in France but dissatisfaction with the rise of living costs is something South Africans are well acquainted with. This year alone we've seen a rise in the price of fuel 8 or 9 times as well as a 1% increase in value added tax. In the coming year there are people who will have their land taken away from them by the government due to land expropriation without compensation worsened by the general unrest caused by political parties calling for blood to be spilled. South Africa is a third world country and is generally not on the radar but to the people living there it's a pretty big deal even if it doesn't get much exposition. I completely understand the unrest France is currently experiencing. I understand it because it happens here everyday.

I like how you focused on these cases in Egypt and not the fact that country is controlled by dictatorship or that any person objecting the rolling party is put to jail. They are not only prosecuting women but the freedom of speech for every citizen. you can do more research about the situation in Egypt. Its bad for everyone and in every aspect.

You guys might not know, but Adel Emam who is an old comedy actor, did touch many woman in his movies through out his whole career and no one care to sue him or say something about him. Why ? Because he is a start. And when you say Egypte, Arabs come to think about Adel Emam. This pervert old basterd did even make out with many actresses even tho he is Muslem. And here they are living him be, and attacking this actress for wearing what she finds it attractive or sexy. Hell, almost 80% movies contain belly dancing ! Why those fucking judges talk about it ?

something people need to know: in protests (at least in France) many of those who break things are not actually protesting but just using the protest to break stuff, and even many of them are actually 'undercover' police officers [just so you know, I am french and live in france]

As a frenchman, I'm personally against both the tax and the protests. - The tax wasn't introduced to fight climate change. Fuel demand isn't affected by taxes much, if at all, much like cigarettes. The government obviously knows that, it's economics 101. Their motivation for intruducing this tax is pure financial gain, nothing more. They know fuel use isn't going to be affected in the end. Fuel use will only go down when there will be proper alternatives, both for industries and individuals. (On that note: we do not have a reliable public transporation system.) - The protests are, again, mostly affecting the most vulnerable parts of the french population. Charity winter food drives have been impaired by road blocks, small businesses are suffering either from property damage or lack of fuel / road blocks, and working class or vulnerable individuals are penalized by the lack of fuel. Good luck getting to work when only one gas station in the city managed to get some fuel supplies through the road blocks, and virtually everyone is as starved for fuel as you are. Ironically, both the government and the protests are effectively working towards making the poor poorer. The government most likely knows what it's doing, but protesters really need to open their eyes to who they are affecting with their actions. For people who work in fuel-reliant industries, it feels very much like being dragged into a fight we didn't choose. We're paralyzed by road blocks, and create more shortages whether we like it or not. There had to be a better way to protest. As far as I'm concerned, the protests are an everyday nuisance and a threat to my personal financial stability. Not the best way to gain political allies.

Regarding the France situation increasing fuel tax to the point where people are protesting seems like the wrong way to encourage people to buy greener cars. What I would do is have a small increase in fuel tax that they have already had and use the income from that to subsidise electric vehicles so that people can gradually transition to electric.

Phil just because a country wants to keep women wearing modest clothes, it doesn’t make them conservative. That’s not conservatism or what conservatives value. Which, if you need to know, is preserving individual freedom. Countries like Egypt do not have liberal or conservative values because they do not have democrats and republicans. They have their own government and their own standards to cultures and politics.

After hurricane Katrina gas prices doubled and stayed that way. Gas used to be around 1$/gal. After Katrina they stayed ~2.5#/gal after then initial 5-6$ gouge before Bush passed legislation against the gouge. Crying about a 25 cent increase doesn't compare IMHO.
